I hate bad weather

Last night terrible storms pass through the Omaha Metro Area. It sucked. Andy was on his way back from Kearney, NE (about 3 hours west of Omaha). He was at a conference through work. Once they hit Lincoln the storms really picked up. He and a co-worker were driving right threw the tornado warnings! This freaked me out so much. They did make it to his co-worker's home in Gretna at 8:30pm. It was very heavy at that time. They stopped to check on his wife. Then Andy finally made it home at 9:15pm.

I stayed in the basement the whole evening working on our picture video and watched the weather. I'm glad I put the laptop in the basement. Now I just need to hook up the Internet downstairs.

I heard this morning on the news that there were 60 possible tornado last night in our area! 60!!! The biggest news story is about the Boy Scouts Ranch in Little Sioux, Iowa. About 90 scouts were at a leadership training camp this week with 20 staff. 4 scouts were killed when a tornado hit and destroyed the camp. About 40 others were injured. Please pray for the scouts and their families.

In other news, Andy and I are traveling to STL this afternoon. Big weekend ahead: meeting with Andre's West, Sabrina, my sister's graduation party, Cards game, and Father's Day Weekend. Oh what fun.
